Dianne Ottereyes Reid has stepped down as President of Aanischaaukamikw Cree Cultural Institute after more than two decades as one of the key leaders in the development of the organization.  Dianne took Aanischaaukamikw from the vision of our elders to the thriving Cree museum and cultural showpiece of today.

For everyone who knows her Dianne is a driving force, and she has used her fearless commitment and energy to build up Aanischaaukamikw as the regional Cree cultural entity for the benefit of all in Eeyou Istchee.

Besides the Anischaaukamikw building and the organizational structure, Dianne has left a precious legacy of hiring the best experts in Eeyou Istchee and beyond, to create and form the long-term staff of Aanischaaukamikw.

I would like thank Dianne for her incredible work and congratulate her on the great success that she has made of Aanischaaukamikw.
